Richard McHugh was signed as a staff writer for Columbia Pictures. He wrote for movies such as Tom Hank’s "Punchline". He later became the staff Composer for U.F.O. Films, scoring more then 15 titles to date including “Dragon Storm and “Epoch”. He scored the animated hit series "Bratz". He also developed and scored the Paramount T.V. series "Jake 2.0".
Richard has also enjoyed a career as a professional musician. He played for T.V. Series such as, ''Brooklyn Bridge'', "Strong medicine", "A Year In The life" and features such as "Moscow on the Hudson", "Three Fugitives" and "Mystic Pizza". He also played on national commercials for McDonalds, Burger King, Chevy Trucks and Borden’s.
Richard works in a digital environment but is also trained to work with a live orchestra. He specializes in scoring: Action, Suspense, Horror, Drama and Animation.
